Serving God with Power to Change - Digital Strategies.

Busyness

Wow, the last few weeks feel like they've just flown by. Carolanne and I have been quite busy, what with both working full time, taking care of the dog, being involved in church functions, and going through Ministry Essentials Training at Campus Crusade. It's not been unpleasent though, just really busy. We're certainly looking forward to when we will be able to take some vacation time.

Ministry at Crusade too has been very busy lately. Normally I try and get a newsletter out by the middle of the month, but today is really the first day I've even had a chance to sit down and think about it. Hoping to get my next one out today. (Lord Willing)

I've noticed more than once, and especially recently that as we begin doing things and building websites which we trust the Lord will use to make a difference, Satan seems to get in the way even more than normal. For example, last week we were working VERY hard on finishing the design and initial coding for a Mens Ministry website. Then on Thursday, everything seemed to be against us. I woke up feeling like I'd been fighting or wrestling all night. Kim, our graphic designer, had to come in late because he had a flat, and we found out that Jon, our other programmer strained or tore something in his neck and wasn't going to be able to come in. It just seemed like one thing compounded on another.

It's during times like that where we really feel like we're in a battle. And more than ever, we need the prayers of our ministry partners. Those are the days when I really realize how little control I have, and how little I can do on my own without God's help and guidence.
