Well I thought that it was about time for me to blog on here more about how the pregnancy is going.
At this point we are almost 29 weeks along and for those of you that it makes more sense to hear months we are 7 months pregnant. It won't be too much longer now till this little bundle arrives. The estimated due date for this little bundle is May 16th.
My oldest brother and James' youngest sister will not be around at that time, unless baby comes early. They leave to go to Thailand on a 3 year missions trip early in May. So I guess unless they plan to come back for a visit, our little bundle will be walking and talking before they see our child in person for the very first time.
I am very thankful that all is going well with the pregnancy so far. We went for a sugar test, I can't remember the technical name, and we find out the results on the 7th of this month when we have our next doctors visit. Every pregnant woman has to go for this test and it's not as bad as people make it out to be. The drink that you have to drink tastes just like orange pop. You have about 15 minutes to finish the little bottle of carbonated sugar water and then you have to wait for an hour before they take your blood.
The worst part of the whole thing is having the needle go in, because it's a bit bigger then a vaccine needle. It only a brief second that you feel it. I'm just glad that each time I've had blood taken so far they have got it right on the first try. Having to drink the pop made me have to burp quite a bit, but no one seemed to care. James came in with me, as he does with all the doctors visits, and we talked and read magazines and played games on the palm pilot while we waited. I'm so thankful I have a husband that comes with me. It helps me calm down.
