Benjamin took his first steps yesterday evening at grampy and Grammy’s house. (That’s James’ parents) We caught it on video, but are not able to put it on here yet. He took around 4 or 5 steps all on his own! I guess now I will end up running around even more then I already do. He still prefers to scoot around, but we know that he can walk if he wants too.
Our little guy is growing up. He also learned to say “baby” yesterday. No it’s not, because there is any baby in mommy’s tummy, it’s because he was looking at a picture of himself as a baby. So now he can say “baby”, “car”, “ma ma”, “da da”, and “please” .
There goes the neighbourhood.
Poor Rusty’s gonna need to have a head start to keep his tail out of Benjamin’s hands soon.
I think it’s GREAT that you are blogging about Ben’s “FIRSTS” because then when he gets older he’ll be able to read and see what his firsts were, all in one place!
just you wait… your little darlin’ will soon be reaching for things you didnt know he could reach and then he will walk away with them and put them somwhere you’d never think to look…. were still looking for some things he walked off with last week… maybe even two weeks ago.
