One of the aspects of our ministry that is often missed when presenting what we do is the “Christian” side of things. Though we do work very hard to lead people to discover Christ, we ALSO develop a large number of resources intended to help existing believers grow in their faith, share their faith with others and teach them to inspire others to share their faith. In Power to Change lingo we refer to those areas as the Experience and Inspire areas of their spiritual lives. I would like to highlight a few of those here.
Every day we send out a large number of devotionals by email. These are devotionals written by people on our staff or affiliated with the ministry. Often hotbeds of discussion, growth and encouragement, the daily devotionals are read by thousands of people every day. If you would be interested in receiving one, feel free to check them out here:
These topical and Life Lesson are designed to address your personal and spiritual needs. Each lesson has a Life Lesson Coach to help answer your questions and pray for you. We often recommend them to Christians and seekers alike. You can take a look at them here. You may even want to take a few.
We offer a large number of training and informational videos on a variety of subjects. More recently we have added a number of video talks by Erwin McManus on subjects like Destiny, Intimacy and Making Sense of Life. You can find more videos here.
Articles on a Variety of Topics:
The items I have mentioned above are just a selection of our specialized resources. We also have a large collection of articles on a variety of topics. These articles are often found by people searching for advice on a particular situation or problem and give us the opportunity to encourage them in their faith and sometimes connect with them on a more personal level through mentoring or the chat rooms. Feel free to come check them out or visit our blog.
I hope this has given you a small glimpse into some of the things we do in addition to just the content targeted at seekers. Thank you for your support and prayer for us and for allowing us to continue in this ministry.
All the best,
James & Carolanne Warkentin
