This story was sent in by one of our chat mentors just a couple days ago.

Last Friday as I sat down at my desk, I thought about hanging a figurative sign "Gone fishing." The to-do's could wait for a while. Jesus said, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men," so I prayed that He would guide me, to instruct me in the way that I should go. I asked Him to take the lead.

I entered the chat room to see a pain-filled nick, and upon inquiry the chatter shared she was there "for matters of the heart." What an open door! I shared how "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Ps. 34:18)

She said, “All those times I've found so much meaning and hope in that typical christian ritual, but ive never felt truly connected to God." I offered to share with her how she could begin that relationship through the work that Jesus had done on our behalf, and this dear lady from the Far East received Jesus Christ as her Savior. We rejoice!
