House Selling & Buying Part 2
Wow, things have been moving REALLY fast. Since my last update, the following steps have taken place. 1. Tuesday night we went with our realtor (Dan Keeley) to take a look at some places in Chilliwack, thinking that perhaps there might be something out there worth looking at. (so far we had not considered Chilliwack as a viable option for us) We were thinking, that maybe living in Chilliwack would work out ok, if we...Published 2007-03-30
House Selling & Buying
Well, on the housing front we have good news and bad news. The good news is, we have received and accepted an offer on our condo. WOOHOO! The people who made the offer now have a week to remove their subjects. That's the good news. The difficult news is that they want possession at the beginning of May. This leaves us with just over a month to find another place and move. That's a bit...Published 2007-03-28
Property Questions
As many of you have heard or read, we are attempting to sell our condo and buy something a little more family friendly. As we have worked through this process, we have come upon some interesting hurdles. It would seem that based on our combined income and the amount that we're able to put down as a down-payment, the largest place that we would be able to get in Abbotsford is a lower end townhouse....Published 2007-02-05
We're Moving!
Dear Friends, We have a decision to make that we would really like your prayer for us on. We have come to the realization that with a baby coming, we are going to need to move. This comes as a result of a couple different issues. 1. Our place is getting kinda small. We are realizing that our condo is going to become rather small with two adults, a largish dog, and a baby living...Published 2007-01-19
Our 3rd Anniversary
Well this December 27th was our last year before kids come along so we decided to go somewhere. We decided on a Bed and Breakfast in Harrison called "Harrison Heritage House". It was a beautiful place and both James and I are both glad that we decided on this place. The room was decorated kind of rustic like and it had a jacuzzi tub right in the room. It also had a "water closet" (the...Published 2007-01-18
Jesus vs. Santa
Many of you have probably seen the PC vs. Mac commercials on TV. Recently, as the introduction for one of the pastor's talks, we were shown the following "parody" of those commercials, as a discussion between Jesus and Santa. [kml_flashembed movie="http://www.youtube.com/v/t2-SRvjU4BI" width="425" height="350" /] On further exploration, I found this one as well. New Due Date for baby(ultra sound results)
Well, we went for the ultra sound on December 8th and everything is going well as far as she can tell for this stag. I am actually not as far along as we originally thought, so I guess we will have to give people a chance to change their guesses, as to when baby will actually be born. The ultra sound has given us a due date of May the 16th 2007. So if you...Published 2006-12-12
Sick and Pregnant
Well I must say it is worse being sick and pregnant then just plain sick. When your sick and pregnant at the same time, there is not much that you can take to help you get better any faster. I've been sick now since Thursday and I've not been sleeping very well at all. I'm waiting for that sleep where I won't be interrupted by coughing fits and a sore scratchy throat.Published 2006-11-14
Helping Other Missionaries
I've been pondering lately about my ministry here at Campus Crusade and my love for working on all things computer related, and I've been wondering if there isn't something more that I could do to use the gifts that God has given to me to bring glory to Him. I apologize if this entry seems more of a personal musing, but if you read to the end, you may be able to help or give...Published 2006-10-30

We're Having a Train?
Well it's official, we are going to have a train. Well at least that's kind of what a baby's heart beat sounds like. We went to the doctors today to hear the heart beat of our baby. Soon as James heard it he said "Well it's official, we're going to have a train". A babies heart beat does sort of sound like a train. It was really cool to hear and to see James' reaction...Published 2006-10-13
Funny Talent Show Video
Some of you (we won't mention names) have asked us to post more personal type stuff on here, such as pictures of our kids (er... dog), personal thoughts, feelings, stories, blah blah... so, we have decided to heed your advice. The following video clip is sort of related to ministry in that it took place at the Campus Crusade Staff Conference at a humourous talent show that was held. This entry was the first, and...Published 2006-10-13
Rusty, our golden dog
Well we have not posted any personal stuff here for a while and we've had some comments about seeing more of our dog. So I'm posting about our "golden" or sometimes not so golden dog, Rusty. He's now 22 months old. We've had him since he was 2 months. He has calmed down quite a bit since we first got him and we are so glad that we can see that our efforts in training...Published 2006-09-27
